Badri Narayan

Badri Narayan’s paintings are intimate and appealing, often narrative with an element of fantasy. Symbolism is a recurring feature in his works as are popular Indian icons like Ganesha, characters of Indian mythology and the influence of Indian miniature traditions. His paintings reflect his personal sense of aesthetics and are contemplative in tone. The artist prefers to work in smaller format which is intimate and suits his preferred medium of watercolours.
